WELCOME TO 2025!
Education and Entertainment are top-notch at the expo with an exciting line-up of clinicians, speakers and special demonstrations.
Clinicians
Mike Major is every bit the modern day cowboy with decades of experience lending itself to his success both in and out of the arena. He has been very successful in the competitive world of AQHA Ranch Horse & World Ranch Horse Association as well as winning back to back championships in the Road to the Horse in 2022 & 2023!
Abby Carbaugh – Indigo Equestian Training
Because of her unique background in both Natural Horsemanship and Classical Dressage, Abby’s program has its own special flair, a blending of the old and the new. In addition to being a certified Cowboy Dressage clinician, Abby specializes in Groundwork, Liberty, Obstacles, and La Garrocha. Her passion as an instructor is helping her clients to develop a meaningful connection and true partnership with their horses.
Robert Eversole – Trail Meister
A refugee from corporate America, Robert built the world’s largest guide to horse trails and camps, www.TrailMeister.com, when he found that accurate information was unavailable. In his clinics and trail-riding columns in leading equine publications, Robert draws from his experiences as a veteran of the US Marine Corps, a PATH-certified riding instructor, and decades of teaching equestrian and outdoor skills. Robert’s passion is providing educational and entertaining information to help horse owners move past their fears and on to their ambitions and dreams of trail riding and horse camping. He emphasizes practical horsemanship and outdoor skills in his trail riding and camping clinics.
Peggy Cummings – Connected Riding
Teaching “feel” is the gift that Peggy Cummings shares with riders worldwide. She is a master rider and teacher and has the same passion and perseverance for her mission that she began over 40 years ago. She believed then and now ‘knows for sure’ that promoting freedom of movement and reciprocity through elastic connection between horse and rider creates the magic of being ‘in sync.’ It’s the memory so many people have of being on a horse as a child. Peggy Cummings’ Connected Riding has found a way to help anyone recapture that feeling again.
Shelby Ketcham – SJR Horsemanship
Owner and founder of SJR Horsemanship, located in Kuna, Idaho. She trains horses, teaches clinics and runs a lesson program for both kids and adults. Her goal is to cultivate a strong and trusting relationship between horse and rider, both on the ground and in the saddle. Shelby teaches a variety of skills including liberty, trick training, groundwork, trail, ranch riding, working equitation and horsemanship for all levels and disciplines. She has been competing in various disciplines with different breeds for over a decade achieving high placements in Extreme Mustang Makeover.
Kristen Bowers – Equestripreneur Co.
Founder and coach at Equestripreneur. My passion for the horse industry, commitment to community, and natural ability to synthesize complex business concepts drive my work. I blend over 30 years of equestrian experience, almost 20 years in corporate operations roles, and lessons learned as a serial entrepreneur (including 2 equine businesses!) to fast track your equestrian business with you via industry-specific education, ready-to-use resources, and a safe and trusting private community of fellow equine business leaders.
Jessica Wisdom – Equi-Librium Equestrian
Jessica trains and teaches out of Marigold Farms located in Ridgefield, WA. Jessica is the recipient of the USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals plus the Freestyle Gold Bar, is an “L” judge with distinction and has had multiple “Horse of the Year” placing with horses in her program. She has coached riders from Training level to FEI with several winning championships in the NW and earning their USDF medals. Her calendar is currently filled with her own competition riding, a training & lesson program, and a growing number of dressage clinics from Alaska to South Carolina.
Emily Elias – Back Country Horsemen of Oregon
Feeling lucky to have had horses from the start, Emily Elias started with Pony club, fox hunting and eventing, then expanding to Dressage, Working Equitation and, most enjoyably, backcountry camping. Working with a long association with the Backcountry Horsemen of Oregon, Emily loves teaching how to pack and go to the backcountry safely and leaving no trace.
